Question 1

Who is Renty for?

Accepted Answer

Landlords who keep their own portfolio, brokers who work vacant listings a landlord shares, and tenants who need their lease and a way to report a repair. A landlord can also invite a co-owner onto specific properties and can create staff logins. Those are landlord settings, not separate marketing pages. PMS is a different product on this site.

Question 2

How do the three roles differ?

Accepted Answer

A landlord runs the portfolio. A broker only sees vacant listings they were shared and then accepted, and only after their account is approved. A tenant only sees leases, payments, documents, and maintenance linked to them. One login can hold more than one role where the product allows it (landlord and tenant, or broker and tenant). A broker account is not also a landlord account. The active role is what the screen shows.

Question 3

Can a tenant pay rent in Renty?

Accepted Answer

No. The landlord records cash, transfer, cheque, or another method, and can add VAT. The tenant sees due, overdue, and paid. Nothing is charged inside Renty.

Question 4

How does a broker get listings?

Accepted Answer

The broker signs up in the Renty app, completes identity and license checks, and waits for approval. Until then they can finish their profile and cannot open inventory. A landlord shares a vacant property (up to 15 brokers invited, up to 3 who accept). The broker accepts a listing that matches their area.

Question 5

What does a broker earn, and who pays it?

Accepted Answer

The landlord sets the fee when they share the listing: a percent of annual rent or a fixed amount. The tenant pays that fee. Renty tracks it. It does not collect it or pay it out.

Question 6

Can I list on property portals from Renty?

Accepted Answer

No. There is no public listing site and no channel sync.

Question 7

What happens on a demo?

Accepted Answer

You choose Renty and your role. We walk through that role: a landlord portfolio, a broker’s shared listing and fee, or a tenant’s lease and repair. We do not ask you to migrate data to book the conversation.

Question 8

Is there a price on this site?

Accepted Answer

Pricing is not published on this site for Renty or PropSmarty PMS. Book a demo and we will match the plan to your portfolio.

Question 9

Where are privacy and terms?

Accepted Answer

The published pages: Privacy at /privacy-policy and Terms at /terms-and-conditions.

Question 10
